Iain designs and makes hardwood furniture in his workshop located on Cartmel Fell nestling among the beautiful rolling fells of The Lake District National Park. His selection of timber is sourced from windblown/damaged trees and managed woodlands in Cumbria and Northumberland. He is inspired by various styles; both rustic and contemporary, often combining the two to form a highly functional and visibly stunning work of art, finished to a high standard of craftsmanship. Pieces are unique with inspiration coming from the natural beauty of the wood itself and his love of functionality |
